This second-generation loblolly pine selection is a native conifer widely used in reforestation projects, timber production, and conservation plantings. Growing 80 to 100 feet tall, it has been selected through tree improvement programs to provide approximately 10–15% greater growth than first-generation stock. Valued for its rapid growth, straight form, and importance to the forest products industry, loblolly pine is commonly planted on former agricultural lands and other sites managed for long-term forest productivity.
