Cornus florida | 1-year seedlings, 8–12"
Flowering dogwood is a native understory tree commonly used in wildlife habitat plantings, forest edges, and conservation landscapes. Growing 20 to 30 feet tall, it is known for its showy spring blooms, which provide resources for pollinators, and its fall fruit, which serves as an important food source for birds and other wildlife. Its adaptability to partial shade makes it a valuable species for enhancing habitat diversity in woodland and conservation plantings.
